Spokane is situated about 330 miles inland from the Pacific Coast. Unlike Seattle, the largest city in the state of Washington, Spokane, the second largest city, isn't confined to mild temperatures throughout the year. Quite the contrary. The winters are bitter and harsh, while temperatures in the summer reach the nineties every so often. Both spring and autumn in Spokane boast comfortably mild temperatures -- perfect for a round or two of golf.
