Spokane Country Club

Your Guide to the best golf courses in spokane Washington.

One of the oldest golf courses in the United States, Spokane Country Club was founded back in 1898. During this time it cost $5 for a membership, but after a new location was built, it burnt down in 1908. Two years later it called its current location; home.

The golf course itself offers a nostalgic view and a piece of unique appeal throughout each hole.

Today, the Spokane Country Club is a private membership golf course. In order to become a member you must be approved by the SCC Board of Trustees. Those accepted will enjoy a beautiful golf course, plenty of amenities, and extra essentials for the entire family.

Amenities

Spokane Country Club offers a large putting green, chipping practice area, driving range, and locker rooms for both men and women. If some of the family will not be joining you on the course, they can enjoy the family swimming pool, snack bar, or even the casual dining facilities.

If by chance you need club or shoe repair, Spokane Country Club offers both of these services in their clubhouse area.

The Memberships

There are several different types of memberships associated with SCC. A regular membership provides full access to everything, which includes social activities. This type of membership entitles you, your spouse, and children to partake in anything the country club offers.

If you're between the ages of 21 and 34, it's possible to purchase a Junior Executive Membership, which also provides access to everything. Those interested in Social Memberships receive most privileges, but only limited golf. Also, Corporate Social Memberships are available, but this option does not offer golfing privileges.

Anyone who is a non-resident can gain a non-resident membership, but there are specific rules to this option. If you are interested in this particular membership, contact the clubhouse for more information.

Additional Benefits

Even though most members will want to play at Spokane Country Club, there will be times when other golf courses will be closer. If you're on vacation or want to play at another private club, their staff can arrange for you to play at most locations.

Another benefit is Spokane Country Club being a part of the Private Club Network. There are over 200 clubs involved, so if you want to play any of the courses offered, only cart fees will need to be paid.
