Mike Senske

Mike graduated from Washington State University in 1968 with a degree in Agricultural Engineering. After working as a Sanitary Engineer for the United States Public Health Service in Cincinnati, OH, Mike moved back to Spokane to work for the Spokane County Utilities Department as a Utilities Design Engineer. In 1977 Mike founded Senske & Associates, a civil engineering firm in Spokane. He served as principal Professional Engineer at his firm for eight years. In the spring of 1985, Mike sold Senske & Associates and began design work on Painted Hills Golf Course.

Mike's service and commitment to the community is reflected in the many activities with which he has been involved:

  • Member of the Environmental Advisory Committee for the 1974 World's Fair
  • Former Commissioner of Spokane County Fire District #8
  • Candidate in the 1976 election for Spokane County Commissioner
  • Soccer coach in the Spokane Youth Sports Association for six years
  • Member of the Moran Prairie Citizens Advisory Committee for the Spokane County Comprehensive Land Use Plan from 1982 to 1984
  • Spokane County Freeholder in the 9th legislative district from 1992 to 1995
  • Active member of the Spokane County Republican Party for more than twenty years
  • Current member of the Chester Creek Watershed Committee
In his spare time Mike spends time with his wife Pamela, harasses his kids, and watches American Idol. He golfs a bit as well.

Ron Ridl

Ron started his apprenticeship in 1982 at the Yellowstone Country Club under head Superintendent Don Tolson (the current Superintendent at Fox Hollow just outside of Denver, Colorado). In 1987 Ron moved on to become head Superintendent at Forsyth Country Club in the state of Montana. Ron achieved Class A status as a superintendent. In 1989, Ron, along with his wife Karen and 2 daughters, Kristen (20) and Nicole (17), moved to Spokane, Washington. Ron’s professional affiliations include:
  • Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA)
  • Peaks and Prairies Superintendents Association
  • Northwest Turf Grass Association
  • Inland Empire Golf Course Superintendents Association
Besides being out on the golf course, Ron enjoys his family, the great outdoors, boating, fishing and most all sports (he will snooker you in pool).

Irlo helps keep the course looking great and he also gives lessons to groups and individuals.
