Painted Hills Golf Course

Hole #9

Yardage: 352 (white/blue), 304 (red/yellow)

Par: 4

Handicap: 11, 5

Hint: Aim straight toward the flag on this hole and you should be fine. The driving range is out-of-bounds, so stay left. The ninth green lies behind a pond which has claimed many a golfer's ball. Approach from the left and you can virtually eliminate the pond from play, but you'll have to go a bit further. The entire back side of the green is bordered by sand. Chipping out of this bunker can be difficult because the green slopes down toward the water. The green itself poses a challenge to many golfers due to its various levels and undulations. Note that the green which is shown in the aerial photograph of the entire course is the current practice green.
